I decided to start writing the The Latch as an outlet for me during pregnancy and to track my subsequent (mis)adventures into motherhood with my child. My little boy Rocco was born in September 2012 and is bloody awesome with a fine set of lungs.
I am happily living with my ‘baby-daddy’ Lorenzo. We met when we were 17 working in a shoe shop (how very glamorous), went to the same university, dated briefly in our early 20s (although he says I actually just stalked him) before losing touch for about eight years. We got reacquainted via Facebook in 2010 (yes, I know) and have been together ever since. He’s a great dad to Rocco.
Career wise I have worked in PR and digital marketing for a number of years. Including stints in New York (I lived there on September 11th – maybe more about that in a post one day), London and for the last few years Manchester, my home city.
I hate brown bananas, love french fashion brands I can’t afford and buying stuff I don’t need on eBay. Which by the way I am very good at.
So that is me. Any comments welcome and if you want to get in touch to say hello just drop me a note via the contact page or Tweet me.
Thanks,
KT
